…heartbeat of the positive revolution

Opening Meditation, using Revolutionary Agreements, by Ed Boardman

Take a moment and get comfortable, either sitting or lying down.
I invite you to close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
As you inhale feel the breath filling you with life-giving energy.
As you exhale feel yourself releasing the stresses of the day.

Continue to breathe, in and out, and allow yourself to be surrounded by a sense of peace and love as you relax even further.

Let yourself sink deeper into that quiet space within you and begin to reconnect with the One Source of all power, of all love… GOD.
As your awareness of that divine connection grows stronger, you become lighter. A bright white light begins to glow and grow within you.

Continue to breathe letting the light expand throughout your body, until you are the light.

You are living your truth.

Your mission is clear and you find joy in knowing your purpose.

Knowing your truth, speak it with compassion for it is evident that we are all connected to the One.

When faced with angry words spoken by others, look first within, knowing that the judgments passed by others provide insights into ourselves. Feel joy at the opportunity to release old fears and prejudices.

Be conscious of what is working in your life, and release those things that aren’t aligned to your purpose.

When others speak listen with your total being, your heart, your intuition and your soul. You are relaxed knowing their problem is not yours to fix, you are there only to care and support.

See the beauty in differences that surround you. The diversity of all life brings you awe and inspiration.

As you continue to be bathed in the light, you are confident. Conflicts that arise are opportunities to understand more about others and ourselves. When you have conflict with another seek them out looking for the joy that a deeper understanding can bring.

Honor the choices you have made that brought you to this perfect point in your life knowing that each decision, even those that turned out to be mistakes, were opportunities to learn and grow. Knowing you made the best decisions you could with the information you had allows you to let go of the past and fully enjoy where you are right now in the present moment.

Be grateful and give thanks to those present in your life and the situations you face, for each brings you closer to your self, your purpose and ultimately, the great Oneness.

As you look inward, say to yourself, “I like the person I am becoming; I know that I am doing my best. When I look around me I know that those who surround me are doing their best too.”

You no longer look at a challenge as a problem because you know that adversity is a blessing in disguise.

Growing more confident with your connection to God, you lighten up. You look at yourself and laugh at the silliness of those things that you once feared. They were only illusions. Reaffirm to yourself that all is as it should be and say, “I am love. I am peace. I am one with the One.”

As you continue to sit in the silence, see yourself peaceful, whole and fulfilled.

The glowing light that surrounds you is slowly absorbed back into your body. As it does, you are once again aware of your breath. You feel alive, refreshed and confident. You connect silently and lovingly with those around you and thank God for the miracle you are.
